COMMITTED TO BETTER RADIO

Although digital radio, or DAB (Digital Audit Broadcasting) as it’s sometimes known, is often fitted as standard in new cars, most car owners are still listening in traditional analogue FM/AM radio.

There are many advantages to DAB; it allows for a greater choice of stations, is less susceptible to interference and is easy to use – stations can be changed at the push of a button.

Although there is no definitive date for the switchover from analogue to digital, rolling out DAB digital coverage is a priority for the UK broadcast industry and Government. Digital Radio Switchover will not become a reality until national digital coverage meets its FM equivalence of 97%.
